“Having schedules, having to make decisions, having to work within guidelines and make hard choices – it’s like the pressure that bears down on carbon to make a diamond. What’s pure is the spark of the creative vision; but you need a certain amount of outside pressure to wrestle it into a form that people can watch and appreciate.”
Chic has created and run some of the biggest cult series on television. He created DARK ANGEL, the series that launched Jessica Alba; served as Executive Producer of the groundbreaking FX cop show THE SHIELD; was EP on DEXTER; EP’d the first season of THE WALKING DEAD; and, most recently, ran the Starz series AMERICAN GODS, adapted from the bestselling novel by Neil Gaiman.
