Craft Services welcomes new writing workshop director Michael Svoboda
Writer, director, and renowned screenwriting instructor Michael Svoboda has joined Craft Services to oversee the platform’s twice-weekly writers’ workshops. Originally from rural Nebraska, Michael has written and directed several short films; worked as a writer on shows for Netflix and other networks; and was the architect of Lena Waithe’s Hillman Grad Mentorship Lab, through which he has taught hundreds of emerging writers to improve their scripts and screenplays. In addition to his work with members of Craft Services, Michael teaches a course on screenwriting at the University of Nebraska.
